Destin is served by two airports. Airline service is available through the Fort Walton Beach airport, which is actually located on nearby Eglin Air force Base, a 30-40 minute drive from Destin. This facility is also known as the Okaloosa Regional Airport and the airport identifier is VPS . For security purposes private and corporate aircraft are prohibited from landing at this airport. .The Destin Airport , also known as Coleman Kelly Field, is located in the heart of Destin only minutes away from our beaches, restaurants and harbor. Direct air service is provided by Wings Air (See Below) from Atlanta's Gwinnett Airport to the Destin Airport which can also accommodate all corporate jets except larger airline equipment.  Airport transportation, including limousines, car rentals, Destin airport shuttle service and cruise line companies.
